I created this project for my get 2 assignment it is to help me understand an engine I was using the open GL engine. The objectives for this project were too:
Create a game
Player
Controls
Enemy
Enemies track player
Objects
Pick able
Non pick able
terrain
Interface (HUD)
Storage
collisions
For this project I was thinking about mostly how to reduce the memory that being used this is because it makes the game so very slow. But even though I did try I don’t think it was done I was able to play the game but I found it could be a lot faster and use less memory. One technique I tried was only render objects that are close to the player even though I did this when it did render objects it you saw it being drawn across the screen. I’m thinking if I got a chance to do it again I would plan it out because no planning was done I think I will use the scrum technique so it is done and to good quality.
